About me
Hello 👋🏻
Thanks for taking the time to have a look around my website.
I’m Tristam, I’m a Dublin based Product Manager by day and a Techie at heart. I’m a big proponent of Free and Open-Sources Software (well, free and open sourced anything) which I hope will be evident in the work that I publish.
Products linked on my website generate a small amount of money through Amazon’s affiliate program and I’ve chosen to donate 20% of these earnings to the Good Work Foundation. The Good Work Foundation is a South African non-profit that creates innovative learning environments to help rural children along their journey to becoming well-rounded, employable citizens of the future. My home country, South Africa, is facing a crisis – as of Q1 2024 around 42% of the population and in some areas, almost 70% of the youth are unemployed (source – StatsSA) so it is critical that we come up with innovative ways to reduce unemployment.
